A food photographer…

… I am not!  But during a session in the studio that combined shooting stock with a bit of experimentation I found myself shooting some close ups of chillies and sun-dried tomatoes.   I was trying to get a shadowless wraparound light effect, soft yet well defined. 

This is what I ended up with and I’ve decided to show these here on the blog because:

a) I don’t have a ‘food’ section;

b) I’m not a food photographer; and

c) I really liked the results!
