Here’s a quick frame from a recent stock shoot where the subject was lifestyle. Yes, this is northern England, and yes, the sun is shining. I hadn’t planned this at all but this sort of weather is rarer than a Tottenham premiership win and I just had to take the opportunity. Daughter and boyfriend were here for the weekend so off we went out into the fields to shoot some stock.
This was done at the end of the session as I thought it would take a while to get right and I didn’t want to have two knackered sweaty people in the other frames. I won’t tell you how many frames it took to get the arms, legs, expressions in the right places. Many sums it up nicely. It’s one of those moments where you’re looking for the right combination. What you can’t see is Mrs JB behind me waving a £20 note as encouragement. I discovered that students will run for money, that’s the key…
